Powhatan Residence
residential design & build
The new 3,000sf residence is located on 10 acre lot in Powhatan Virginia overlooking a shared pond and marshes. It is designed to embrace the natural setting and encourage the use of natural ventilation. Overhangs and cantilevers were implemented to mitigate solar gain in the summer and low emitting or non-emitting interior materials were used to preserve indoor air quality.

re:4m provided LEED management services for the 60,000sf academic building located in UVA's new Ivy Corridor. Services included design review, credit tracking, and LEED submittal reviews. The new building will open to students and staff Summer 2024. Design architect was Hopkins Architects and architect of record was VMDO.
